The Inner Mongolia Association of Canada (IMAC) is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-profit organization legally registered in Ontario. The association is dedicated to connecting and serving fellow Inner Mongolians in Canada, promoting communication, exchange, and mutual assistance among Inner Mongolian communities in Canada, assisting new immigrants and students studying in Canada in settling, studying, and finding employment, helping members actively integrate into Canadian society, abide by Canadian laws, and fulfill various obligations as citizens or residents.
加拿大内蒙古协会（IMAC）是在安省合法注册的非政府，非宗教，非盈利组织机构。协会的宗旨是致力于联络和服务加拿大内蒙古籍的同乡，促进在加同乡之间的沟通、交流和互助，辅助新移民和赴加留学生安居、求学和就业，协助会员积极融入加拿大社会，遵守加拿大法律，履行公民或居民的各种应尽的义务。
Our Story 我们的故事
By sharing culture, art, knowledge, and experiences among communities, we bridge the communication gap between diverse ethnicities, enhance cross-cultural understanding and mutual assistance, and improve the sense of happiness and adaptation of fellow compatriots in various ethnic groups in Canada. At the same time, we leverage the strengths of the Chinese community to promote cultural, artistic, and economic exchanges and cooperation between Canada and China, contributing to the prosperity and development of the local multicultural community.
通过在社区间共享文化、艺术、知识和经验，架起各族裔多元文化沟通的桥梁，增进跨文化的理解和互助，增强同乡在加拿大各族群中生活的幸福感和适应度。同时发挥华人的优势，努力促进加中两国文化、艺术、经贸的交流与合作，为当地多元文化社区的繁荣与发展贡献力量。
Since its establishment, IMAC members have actively promoted association affairs, maintained contact with fellow compatriots, provided assistance to the community, organized activities, and collaborated with numerous cultural and artistic organizations, associations, institutions, and individuals both domestically and internationally. In late November 2023, IMAC President Sophia Lian, as one of the members of a Canadian business delegation, represented Canada at the 2023 China International Supply Chain Expo held in Beijing. Following the expo, she visited more than ten large enterprises in Beijing and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, greatly facilitating exchanges and cooperation between businesses of China and Canada.
加拿大内蒙古协会（IMAC）成立以來，协会成員依照章程积极推動会务、联络乡谊、帮扶乡里，组织活动，并于国内外众多文艺组织，社团，单位与个人协力合作。2023年11月底，IMAC会长Sophia Lian作为加拿大企业家代表团成员之一代表加拿大参加了在北京举办的2023年中国首届世界供应链博览会并随后参访了北京及内蒙古自治区十多家大型各类企业，极大推动了中加两国企业间的交流与合作。
The aforementioned activities reflect IMAC's pragmatic approach, which has garnered attention and extensive support from the Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal governments as well as major Canadian media outlets. IMAC has made significant contributions to promoting cultural, artistic, and economic exchanges and cooperation between Canada and China, as well as to the prosperity and development of Canada's multicultural communities.
